30 Day Challenge

Colossians 2:6
Just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

If you were with me at Hume Lake, this verse should sound very familiar. Beginning Monday, March 22, I will add a short post of encouragement for you for 30 days. Jesus is inviting you to COME TO HIM...will you?

Feel free to post your comments and thoughts. Let's spur one another on!

  1. Thank you, Grace, for your teaching this weekend at Hume. It was a great time in the Word of God! Looking forward to joining you and the others who are taking 'the challenge'!

  2. Thank you, Grace for presenting this weekend and for speaking to me and making me aware of where I have closed my heart. I love the analogy of God chosing my soul and my purpose is just to love. With being a busy, working Christian mother, I often find myself feeling weak, tired, insecure, stretched in many directions wondering if I am completing and fulfiling my responsibilities and purpose, but all I need to do is "Love" and that all that guilt and insecurity is Satan trying to divert my attention and close my heart to hearing the Holy Spirit speak. I look forward to this challenge as well and I thank you, again!

  4. Thank you for sharing with us this weekend, Grace. I'm looking forward to loving Him more deeply as I surrender myself to Him and sit at His feet. The verse that spoke to me most this weekend was 1 Peter 5:6-7, "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." I plan to join you on the 30 day challenge.

I accepted Christ at a Hume Lake high school Winter camp 14 years ago. What a thrill it was to sit there in the chapel this weekend and remember with vivid detail the night He became my Lord and Savior. Praise God!

  5. Thanks for your encouraging comments friends. Brenda, I too was a busy mommy and always felt a lot of guilt around my 'lack' of time with Jesus. He is with us ALL the time! I pray that burden will be lifted and that your (and ours!) time (whatever it is) will be rewarded with freedom and blessings. He chose us and loves us everyday of our lives! No matter what we do or don't do, His love never changes. You all are VERY welcome. It was good for my soul as well! Thank you Abba.
