Day17

"Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer;
answer me, for I need Your help.
Protect me, for I am devoted to you.
Save me, for I serve You and trust You.
You are my God." Psalm 86

This grove reminds me of how the Lord bends down to hear us and help us. He is devoted to blessing us...all He asks is that we devote ourselves to Him and serve Him only. He is always in reach, and always hears. I need to be reminded every day or my own thoughts dominate with wrong thinking and unhealthy habits. I'm praying for you today, sweet sister, that You would call out to the One, the only One, who truly knows how to answer your cry for help. Trust Him and serve Him with me.

  2. Thank you Grace. I love the picture of Christ bending down to reach us. These days I feel like sometimes I cannot even look up, and it helps to know He is always looking at us. Thank you for these daily inspirations--can they go on longer than 30 days?

  3. Sisters in Christ, I witnessed a very sad, heartbreaking scene while waiting to pick up my grandson at his Junior High. A young lady was being escorted out of the school by a police detective,in handcuffs, she looked so frightened and young, regardless of her crime, she is a child, and needs Jesus and our prayers. I envision God bending down to hear her and help her. I sat and prayed for her and her situation, can I ask all who see this to please pray too. Father, in your name, help her, protect her, show her your love and grace.

  4. Thanks girls for your comments and encouragement. Suzanne, I am shocked that some are hanging in for 30 days! I'm open to however the Lord leads. It's been a great discipline for me. I'm always amazed when/if God uses this very cracked jar of clay for His glory. I praise Him!
