I decided to rename my blog...mostly cuz I think I am the only one who reads it, and I like to think these are conversations I'd love to have with people as we lingered on my front porch swing. Now there's all kinds of social networking (including blogs!), but I can imagine how it was when life was slower...people sat together, worked together, walked together, ate together, played together and lingered together. Like Jesus did with His disciples. I resist all the change, but, it is what it is. So, if you ever have time...come, sit a while and let's talk about what really matters.
Love the new name! And you have a ton of readers! Way more than I have. :)
ReplyDeleteI just looked at yours Kara! I didn't know you were working at SP. That's awesome. Such a foreign world to me. I wish I could do that kind of stuff. Very beautiful. I love how the Creator uses so many different ways to display His beauty.
ReplyDeleteI do work at SP. I have been for almost a year. I started there to help when Paul lost his job last Nov. And now that the boys are in school, it just works. It's been a huge blessing in so many ways for me.

ReplyDeleteLove it!! I too wish life was a bit slower and we all had front porch swings!! (for more reasons than one!! I love the Southern wrap around porches! Love sweet tea! Long for more connections! I mean daily connections. So weird that I live most of my days alone w/ my 3 kids. . . long for the olden days when there was more connection . . .) Love you Grace, so dearly!! Hope you had a wonderful holiday season!!
